Tacones, divas y mucho morro: así será una de las noches más divertidas del Benidorm Pride
Hay cosas que solo pueden pasar en el Benidorm Pride. Y una de ellas es ver a un montón de gente subida a unos tacones, intentando correr como si aquello fuera una final olímpica… pero con bastante más purpurina y bastante menos vergüenza. Este año vuelve la Carrera de Tacones, uno de esos momentos que los habituales del Pride echábamos de menos. Competición, espectáculo, risas y, sobre todo, muchas ganas de pasarlo bien. Porque aquí no importa tanto quién llega primero como quién consigue llegar a la meta sin perder la ropa por el camino.
Y después de los tacones, toca ponerse todavía más divina.
Ñ DIVAS DISCO: ¡que empiece el espectáculo!
La noche del 3 de septiembre, el Auditori Julio Iglesias se convertirá en una auténtica fiesta dedicada a las divas. Regresa Ñ DIVAS DISCO, después de la magnífica acogida de su primera edición. La idea me parece estupenda: dar protagonismo al talento de Benidorm y de toda la zona y convertir el escenario en una auténtica pasarela de artistas, música, humor, espectáculo y mucho descaro. Y este año, además, habrá dos invitadas de auténtico lujo: La Prohibida y Kika Lorace, dos nombres que saben perfectamente lo que significa subirse a un escenario y hacer que el público lo pase en grande.
Al frente estará nuevamente Manu Show, que ya sabemos que de discreta tiene poco… y menos mal.
Lo que me gusta de Ñ DIVAS es precisamente eso: que no pretende ser una gala aburrida y perfectamente calculada. Es una fiesta. Una de esas noches en las que puedes acabar cantando, bailando, gritando y preguntándote al día siguiente por qué demonios llevas purpurina hasta en las orejas. (¿Verdad, Dioni Toledano?)
Y eso, queridos amigos, también es el Pride.
Juan Dresán y Rumore-Rumore estarán allí
Desde Rumore-Rumore volveremos a estar en Benidorm para contarlo desde dentro. No queremos limitarnos a mirar el programa y contaros quién actúa. Queremos vivirlo, buscar personajes, encontrarnos con amigos, descubrir historias y, por supuesto, sacar nuestras cámaras cuando la ocasión lo merezca.
Así que ya lo sabéis: tacones preparados, peluca colocada y sentido del ridículo en casa. A Benidorm no se viene a pasarlo mal.
El 3 de septiembre, Benidorm promete una de esas noches que empiezan con una carrera y pueden terminar… Dios sabe dónde.
Y yo, sinceramente, no pienso perdérmela.

Heels, Divas and Plenty of Attitude: One of the Most Fun Nights at Benidorm Pride
There are things that can only happen at Benidorm Pride. And one of them is watching a whole bunch of people trying to run in high heels as if they were competing in an Olympic final… but with considerably more glitter and considerably less shame.
This year, the High Heel Race is back — one of those Pride moments that regulars have definitely missed. Competition, entertainment, laughter and, above all, a huge desire to have a good time. Because here, it’s not so much about who crosses the finish line first as it is about who manages to get there without losing their clothes along the way.
And after the heels, it’s time to get even more fabulous.
Ñ DIVAS DISCO: Let the Show Begin!
On the night of September 3rd, the Auditori Julio Iglesias will be transformed into a spectacular celebration dedicated to the divas.
Ñ DIVAS DISCO is back after the fantastic reception of its first edition. I think the idea is brilliant: giving the spotlight to the talent of Benidorm and the surrounding area, and turning the stage into a true catwalk of artists, music, humour, entertainment and plenty of attitude.
And this year, there will also be two truly fabulous special guests: La Prohibida and Kika Lorace, two names who know exactly what it means to step onto a stage and make sure the audience has an unforgettable time.
Once again, the show will be hosted by Manu Show, who we already know is not exactly known for being discreet… and thank goodness for that!
What I love about Ñ DIVAS is precisely this: it doesn’t try to be a boring, perfectly choreographed gala. It’s a party. One of those nights when you can end up singing, dancing, screaming and wondering the next morning why on earth you have glitter stuck in your ears. (Right, Dioni Toledano?)
And that, dear friends, is also what Pride is all about.

From Rumore-Rumore, we’ll be back in Benidorm to cover it all from the inside.
We don’t want to simply look at the programme and tell you who is performing. We want to experience it, meet interesting people, bump into friends, discover stories and, of course, get our cameras out whenever the moment deserves it.
So now you know: heels at the ready, wig perfectly in place and your sense of embarrassment left at home.
You don’t come to Benidorm to have a bad time.
On September 3rd, Benidorm is promising one of those nights that starts with a race and could end up… well, God only knows where.
And honestly, I have absolutely no intention of missing it.
